Head Cheerleading Coach Tearykah Frye
"Teaching a sport as complex as cheerleading can take a lot of work! Cheerleading builds unbreakable bonds and trust between team members. Cheerleading is challenging, and there is always a new skill to concur. That is why I started Eclipse Cheer Xtreme! I grew up in St. Paul with very few cheerleading opportunities, and the ones I did have were much out of my family's budget. That is why bringing cheerleading closer to the Twin Cities, and making it more affordable for everyone is my main goal. I have been a cheerleader since 2008, now as an adult, I may not be as skilled as I once was, but I could never leave this sport alone, it's my passion!"

In 2007 I attended the Rice street parade, towards the end of the parade there was a float with recreational cheerleaders. I remember being so excited to see them, they were handing out candy and "Bring it on AGAIN" DVDs. I watched that movie almost every day... then just like every other inspired child I begged my mom to start cheerleading. The following year, 2008 I started cheerleading at Dayton's Bluff With Cheer America, and I haven't stopped cheerleading since!

"Cheer is a sport that I have instantly fallen in love with in recent years. After cheering for the first time in 2021, at Park Center, I became captain for the 2022-2023 school year. I have a strong passion for cheer and I plan to continue in college!"
